Dr. Marc Sachon
Marc has 20 years of experience in consulting and executive education as a full-time faculty member in one of the world’s leading business schools.
His main areas of expertise are implementing strategy, operations strategy and process improvement.
Marc has extensive experience in working with retail and FMCG companies as well as the automotive sector. He has written industry analysis reports for the investment banking sector and conducted projects with several leading companies in FMCG and retail. His research in retail/FMCG focuses on supply chain efficiency in retail and the effect of private labels. He has contributed to several books and has published articles in academic as well as business journals.

Marc has received several international teaching awards; his case study “Aldi: A German Retailing Icon” is the best-selling case of IESE Business School (nationally and internationally via ECCH and Harvard Business School Publishing), he has been invited key note speaker at several industry events; he teaches in IESE’s top level executive programs and designed several of them (e.g., BMW). He is an invited guest lecturer in executive programs in China, Columbia, Germany, Iceland, Mexico. Russia and Saudi Arabia. He works and lectures in German, English and Spanish.
He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University, USA; an MBA from IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Spain; and a Master in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
