Over the last two decades Andrew has served in senior capacities covering quality management, change management, client services, compliance, operations, digital transformation and custodial services. This has been across insurance, banking and fixed income sectors.
Andrew was first immersed into the digital world in the early days of the internet, where he co-led a team that developed the first online transactional car and home insurance capability for the Allianz Group in Australia. This was followed by a move to the German company’s headquarters, in Munich, where digital concepts and applications began to be shared and rolled out as part of a global initiative. His skills were then used to support other global programs including Customer Focus, Innovation, Sustainability, Business Transformation and Quality Management. In 2007, Andrew moved to London where he established the quality programs and competencies for Commerzbank in the UK and Germany. In 2011, Andrew returned to Australia to lead the operations division of Australia’s largest fixed income broker. He was accountable for client services, anti-money laundering (AML KYC), cash settlements, security settlements, money market operations and custodial services. In a five year period the size of his custody business tripled to AU$3B and added many new services. By applying quality, lean and innovation tactics, the headcount of his team remained unchanged and could provide improved levels of service.
When it comes to process improvement, operational reviews, AML, facilitation or planning the roll-out of strategic initiatives, Andrew will be a valuable resource for your business.
